Ten Sixteen Recovery Network

The Ten16 Recovery Network in Mount Pleasant, Michigan is a CARF accredited outpatient treatment center for addiction. They’re members of the Michigan Association of Recovery Residences, the LARA Community and Health System, the MSHN Mid-State Health Network, and the Community Mental Health Association of Michigan.

The network accepts Medicaid, the Healthy Michigan Plan, MIChild, and several private insurance plans. Clients without coverage may be eligible for financial assistance through federal grants or sliding fees for select services.

This network has numerous locations across Michigan but the Mt. Pleasant location is a free recovery center. They offer outpatient counseling, group therapy, support groups, prevention, outreach, and education classes.

Outpatient counseling varies in frequency and intensity based on each client’s needs. Treatment is integrated with any mental health disorders that are co-occurring with substance use. They use an abstinence-based approach here, focusing on helping you to put drugs and alcohol in your past forever.

This organization also has an educational program for early intervention and support. This program is helpful for clients with risky choices and behaviors. This often means a problem or addiction may be developing.

A Gathering Place for the Recovery Community

This location also serves as a community center for those in recovery. This is where clients can drop in free to relax, use a computer, watch TV, and speak with a counselor.

The center has a coffee shop, TV lounge and computer lab in addition to recreational spaces, meeting rooms, counselors, recovery coaches, and support offices. Available throughout the week are recovery meetings, educational programming, sharing times, addiction treatment services, and social activities.

Referral to Ten16’s Residential Rehab

Clients needing inpatient or residential care can be referred to Midland, Ten16’s residential rehab. This intensive care program lasts between 30 and 45 days, and like the recovery center here, it’s not for profit.
