Syracuse Recovery Services (SRS) is a private agency that offers several outpatient services that can help individuals overcome substance use disorders (SUDs). In downtown Syracuse, New York, you’ll find one of their three locations offering care and support to individuals with addictions.

It’s the only one of their locations that’s open on Saturdays, which makes it an ideal service for individuals whose jobs and other responsibilities keep them tied up during the week. They’re also conveniently close to many restaurants, the Galleries of Syracuse public library and other interesting locations and resources you could use before or after counseling sessions.

They have several services that either treat SUDs directly or help with a tangential need in life that often accompanies addiction. These services include individual and group counseling as core methods to help address harmful behaviors and thought patterns, as well as specialty groups and the ability to help you find and fit into a peer support relationship or network. SRS is able to provide prescriptions for several different medications as a part of their medication assisted treatment (MAT) program. They can provide medications that reduce cravings and other withdrawal symptoms in individuals recovering from addictions to alcohol as well as opiates. They also have a similar treatment that can help you stop smoking.
