About Sundance Methadone Treatment Center
Sundance Methadone Treatment Center is an opioid treatment program on Chicago's North Side providing medication assisted treatment for heroin, prescription painkiller and opioid addiction. The center offers methadone maintenance therapy, detox services and collaborative treatment planning tailored to each person's addiction severity and co-existing needs. Sundance creates a warm, nonjudgmental environment where adults can access evidence based care designed to support lasting recovery from opioid dependence.
Methadone Maintenance
Sundance specializes in medication assisted treatment using methadone to help adults manage withdrawal symptoms, reduce cravings, and stabilize their recovery from opioid use disorder. The center offers both short term detox and long term methadone maintenance, with every treatment plan personalized through a collaborative assessment process.
Sessions focus on addressing the physical and psychological aspects of opioid dependence, with attention to underlying or co-existing conditions that may complicate recovery. The center provides extensive patient education on methadone safety, dosing and common concerns, empowering clients to make informed decisions throughout their treatment journey.

Sundance offers dedicated support for Spanish speaking clients, pregnant and postpartum women and individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Getting Started with Care
Sundance serves clients in person at its Uptown Chicago location on North Broadway, with early morning dosing hours starting at 5:30am on weekdays to accommodate work and family schedules. The center is open Monday through Saturday with no Sunday hours.
Treatment costs $50 per week with no intake fees, and Medicaid and Medicare patients receive free care.
