About Spirit Mountain Recovery
Spirit Mountain Rehab in Eden, Utah is a drug and alcohol residential rehab for men. The rehab offers a client to staff ratio of 2 to 1 which provides a personalized treatment experience.
They are certified by The Joint Commission and licensed by the Utah Department of Human Services. Most major insurances are accepted, including Tricare. Detoxification services will need to be completed at a different location before applying to Spirit Mountain.
Men’s Treatment for Substance Use Disorders
The center provides transportation from the SLC airport to the facility. Treatment for substance use with co-occurring mental health disorders and medication management are available at this facility.
Residential rehab here is a minimum of 30 days but they encourage you to stay 90 days or longer so you have a stronger foundation for your recovery. You will complete two hours of individual therapy and 30 hours of group therapy weekly.
Therapies include motivational interviewing and trauma informed care along with other common techniques. You will attend addiction recovery meetings which offer peer support, structured discussions, and qualified facilitators. Your family will be invited to attend some of the meetings.
Specialized Treatments and Activities for Stress Relief
Stress is reduced by mindfulness activities such as meditation and focused breathing exercises as well as yoga.
Holistic therapies at this rehab treat the mind, body and spirit. These include wilderness therapy hikes, equine therapy sessions, and art therapy. The chef teaches classes on nutrition and cooking skills too.
Life skills training teaches stress management, proper communication, and coping strategies. Family therapy sessions will allow you and your family to repair relationships and educate your family about addiction and sobriety.
Outdoor exercise opportunities include pickleball, golf, paddleboarding, hiking, camping, fishing, skiing, snowboarding, rope courses, and nightly campfires. A gym, arcade, and hot tub are available for you to use during your free time. Eden is on the east side of the Wasatch Mountains, providing you with fresh mountain air during your visit.
