Specialized Treatment Services (STS) provides opioid addiction care in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They believe in using multiple treatment methods to help guests overcome addiction and offer outpatient care which includes the flexibility to continue with typical daily activities.
A Team Approach
Their team includes a medical director, physician, pharmacists, nurses, drug and alcohol counselors and case managers all working together on your behalf. They believe the multidisciplinary approach helps meet the medical, social and psychological needs of clients.
Withdrawal Maintenance
They provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help alleviate harsh withdrawal symptoms and ease cravings. The program includes methadone and buprenorphine maintenance. A physician will help determine which medication is better for your needs. MAT is combined with individual therapy to address any underlying causes of addiction and develop a treatment plan for recovery. All guests have basic medical care access to ensure safety.
Education and Therapy Groups
STS offers group therapy sessions and education classes during the week where clients can discuss topics related to substance use and recovery. These discussions may involve socialization, life skills, career building, relapse prevention, stress management and family education.
