About Serenity Lane Treatment Center Salem
Serenity Lane is a behavioral health facility that provides outpatient care for substance use disorder with a satellite location in Salem, Oregon. It is part of the greater network that offers statewide care to Oregonians. The Salem location is mainly an outpatient facility but also works with state departments for people facing DUI penalties to help them avoid fines and jail time.
Intensive Outpatient Care
If you’ve already successfully detoxed, but are newly sober and overwhelmed with the responsibilities you’re facing, an intensive outpatient program (IOP) may be a good starting place.
Usually offered in a 10 week program, the IOP meets three times a week for three hours with a mix of group and individual counseling sessions. There are also morning and evening sessions to give you more flexibility.
After the initial 10 weeks, you’ll transition to Recovery Support which is a weekly program that runs from 12 to 24 months. This weekly program includes a 90 minute session that focuses on helping you manage the stressors that previously triggered addiction. You’ll also have access to other programs like 12 step, family support, and dual diagnosis care if needed.
Residential Treatment
While the Salem location doesn’t provide residential care, if you find that you need detox or medication assisted treatment (MAT), or a substance free environment to safely recover, then the Coburg location does offer an inpatient program. Expect to spend around 28 days in treatment while still receiving access to therapy and dual diagnosis care if you need it.
Serenity Lane accepts most major insurance plans and outpatient treatment is at least partially covered by those providers.
DUII Services
Known as “driving under the influence of an intoxicant”, the DUII services at Serenity Lane are designed to help you avoid harsher punishments such as jail time or fines. The flexible day and evening program educates offenders and even includes monitoring if required by the courts.
