Samaritan Village 43rd Street Veterans Program is a veteran focused addiction treatment center in New York City, New York providing residential substance use treatment for male veterans in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.
As the flagship veterans facility of Samaritan Daytop Village the program integrates addiction care with PTSD and co-occurring mental health support.
Veteran Addiction Treatment
Treatment begins with admission into the residential program where veterans receive care for substance use and related mental health conditions. The Samaritan Daytop Village continuum also includes outpatient treatment, medication assisted treatment, and mental health services.
Clients can expect counseling and evidence based therapies such as Moral Reconation Therapy, Seeking Safety, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy along with relapse prevention and aftercare support.
Wraparound services include benefits counseling and housing referrals, employment assistance, education services, and family counseling by referral.
