Project ADAM (Alcohol Drug Abuse Ministries) is a CARF accredited nonprofit community assistance center in Winder, Georgia providing addiction treatment through a full continuum of care.
Project ADAM blends faith informed and 12 Step methods with clinical approaches to help clients build lasting sobriety and practical life skills.
Biblical Teachings and 12 Step Methods
Since 1980 the center has treated substance use and co-occurring mental health needs with residential, general outpatient, and intensive outpatient programs along with medication-assisted treatment and drug court services.
The cornerstone of Project ADAM is its 39-bed ASAM Level III.1 recovery residence for men ages 19 and older. This long-term program spans a minimum of 12 month offering a structured family-like environment that pairs sobriety with real-world reintegration.
Residents move through phased privileges with employment expectations and random drug screening with independent-living planning. Lodging, meals, transportation, and case management round out this comprehensive recovery model.
Treatment blends AA/NA participation and Biblical teachings with Christian-based counseling and CBT, Moral Reconation Therapy, relapse prevention, and vocational supports.
Outpatient and Justice-Involved Services
Project ADAM also offers adult intensive outpatient treatment and adolescent outpatient care, group treatment, and clinical evaluations.
The center maintains a strong criminal justice focus providing a four phase Drug Court program lasting 18 to 24 months for Piedmont Judicial Circuit participants plus DUI risk reduction education and workplace drug testing services.
