About Pivot Drug Rehabilitation Center
Pivot Ministries is a faith-based recovery program for adult men in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
The program treats drug and alcohol addiction through a Christian, whole-person model that addresses spirit, mind and body.
Its goal is to help men return to their families and communities sober, employed and motivated to serve.
Faith-Based Recovery for Men
Pivot's core offering is a nine-month residential addiction treatment program structured in three 90-day phases.
Phase One focuses on crisis intervention and stabilization, Phase Two on relapse prevention and habit-building and Phase Three on vocational preparation and transition into community life.
Daily programming blends addiction counseling with spiritual formation including Bible study, counseling, work therapy, life-skills training, mentoring and job-readiness preparation.
Phase Two adds classes in biblical principles, anger management and conflict resolution.
Work Therapy and Reintegration
Pivot emphasizes brotherhood, worship and mentoring as central to lasting recovery.
The program prioritizes vocational and educational opportunities, church involvement and community service, and offers a six-month Restoration program.
The team includes continued alumni support and transitional housing after graduation to help with sustained sobriety.
