About Pegasus House
Pegasus House is a Massachusetts licensed residential rehabilitation program in Lawrence, operated by the nonprofit Psychological Center, Inc.
The program provides treatment for alcohol, opioid and other drug use for young women ages 18 to 25, with admissions for ages 16 to 17 possible through a waiver.

Residential Recovery for Transitional Age Young Women
Pegasus House offers a 24/7 residential setting with 15 beds, purpose built for the developmental realities of young adulthood.
Care combines individual counseling, group services and family sessions that can include parents, relatives, mentors or other supportive adults chosen by the resident.
Length of stay is guided by individual need and aftercare planning begins at admission to support long term recovery.
Treatment addresses substance use alongside cooccurring mental health concerns and histories of trauma, with programming responsive to culture, identity and LGBTQ experience.
Art Therapy and Basketball
Beyond clinical care, Pegasus House integrates life-skills development, education, vocational support and independent living preparation into daily recovery.
Residents can access an onsite art studio for art therapy, outdoor recreation like basketball and volleyball and community outings.
Stress reduction, healthy coping skills and relapse prevention support round out a peer centered milieu.
