About Parallax Center
Parallax Center, in midtown Manhattan, is an outpatient substance withdrawal and patient stabilization program for adults. They offer outpatient and aftercare services and specialize in the treatment of post acute withdrawal syndrome (PAWS). Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available, including non-opioid MAT protocols for clients recovering from opiate addiction. Dedicated programs for working professionals, dual diagnosis clients, military personnel, young adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ community are available. In addition to MAT, they prioritize CBT-based individual, group, and family counseling. They also prioritize relapse prevention and aftercare support. Private insurance, Medicaid, and self-pay are accepted and needs-based funding assistance is available. They are SAMHSA accredited.
