Olalla Recovery Centers - Olalla Guest Lodge in Olalla, Washington, overlooks Puget Sound’s Colvos Passage and offers views of Mount Rainier and wildlife. The lodge is a residential alcohol and drug treatment center with separate treatment locations for men and women. The lodge is CARF accredited and LegitScript certified.
Residential treatment is available for adults 18 years or older. If you are in need of detox and stabilization, the lodge can make a referral to another facility for you.
Holistic Methods for Stress Relief
The lodge offers several treatment modalities including acupuncture which alleviates stress and anxiety and may help with detoxification. Yoga and meditation opportunities can help relax the mind and body. They also offer stress reduction and relaxation through Reiki.
Empowering Treatment for Women
Their female-specific programs divide clients into small female-only groups. Topics include sexual, physical and verbal abuse. Domestic violence is a related topic that is addressed. Hands-on conflict resolution is another unique topic that they cover.
Through their Women Learning Empowerment program, women learn how to heighten their self esteem and lower their codependency. Eliminating guilt and shame, depression, and the desire to be perfect are incorporated into treatment.
Native American Treatment Program
The lodge offers Native American cultural and spiritual recovery treatment options. Native elders facilitate a monthly Native American Spiritual Circle. A burning/smudging ceremony celebrates burning paper as a way of letting go of the past and smudging to be blessed with an eagle feather or sweet grass. Their Medicine Wheel Class focuses on integrated creation including the body, mind, spirit and emotions.
Nature Setting
The Olalla Guest Lodge offers treatment and recovery with a nature aspect. Activities include basketball, volleyball, horseshoes and walking on a fitness trail that circles the property.
