he Briscoe location offers short-term residential inpatient treatment and access to medically supported detox, addressing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Short-Term Residential Addiction Treatment in Lake Charles
The Briscoe site provides an approximately 28-day residential inpatient program focused on abstinence, life skills and practical recovery tools.
Operating in Lake Charles since 2019, the facility delivers on-site care in a safe, structured environment for men and women navigating substance use disorders.
Treatment integrates individual and group counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, the Matrix Model, 12-step programs, trauma related counseling and family involvement.
Clients also benefit from relapse prevention planning and aftercare services to support life beyond residential care.
Detox Access and Statewide Continuum of Care
While detox is not performed on-site, Briscoe arranges transportation to Odyssey House Louisiana's medically supported withdrawal management program at its Fairview facility in Bayou Vista.

Briscoe serves adults from all Louisiana parishes at its Lake Charles campus on Avenue H, with proof of Louisiana residency required for admission.
As a nonprofit, the program serves clients with Medicaid, Medicare, or no insurance and can assist with Medicaid enrollment as an Application Center; private pay insurance is not accepted for inpatient services.
