About Granite Recovery Centers – Canterbury Behavioral Health
NFA Behavioral Health on Shaker Road in Canterbury, New Hampshire, is now called Granite Recovery Centers - Canterbury Behavioral Health. They offer a dozen different programs to cover every level of care they can to meet each client’s needs. Each curriculum includes holistic and evidence-based therapies. They have telehealth services for anyone who can’t attend in person, and all of their services and programs are LBGTQ+ friendly.
Specialized Inpatient and Outpatient Programs
There is a 20-bed residential campus for adults who are struggling with severe mental health concerns. On top of the residential mental health unit there is an inpatient addiction treatment program. There are also partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs as well as casual outpatient clinics.
They have special programs for young adults and for those with dual diagnosis who need help with addiction and other mental health issues. There is also a Rally Point Recovery program specifically for veterans.
Evidence-Based Treatment
All of these programs have traditional and new therapeutic philosophies as well as medication assisted treatment options to assist with the success of treatment and long-term recovery. All therapies are trauma-informed, evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy.
They also offer many group activities and experiential therapeutic activities and workshops. These include SMART Recovery groups, stress management, art and music therapy, grief and loss support, 12 Step and peer support programs.

Granite Recovery Centers is an in-network facility for most private and government health insurance plans. It is important to check with your personal health insurance plan provider to ensure you know what coverage you have and what expenses will be out-of-pocket. There is financial help available if needed.
