Partial Hospitalization

Designed as a convenient inpatient alternative, partial hospitalization is a bit more flexible while still providing hands-on care and medication assisted treatment (MAT) if you need it, but is more cost effective for participants.
It’s not uncommon for people to opt for longer partial hospitalization programs, to safely reach sobriety and enhanced independence. In most cases, once the program is successfully completed patients will transition to the facility’s intensive outpatient program (IOP). This service is also available for other behavioral health needs.
Intensive Outpatient Care
Intensive outpatient care is more flexible than partial hospitalization but still provides more regular interaction with clinicians and caregivers at Midwood Addiction Treatment center. While continuing to live off site is still a core part of this program, some people may find that they’ll want to stay at an authorized supportive housing space to avoid temptation and relapse. Likewise during this time participants are encouraged to return to school or work.
Downgrading to an IOP will require achieving sobriety and being withdrawal symptom free for at least several weeks. During this time, dual diagnosis care is still a priority, and counseling is still available either as group or individual sessions. After successful completion people can transition to standard outpatient support with aftercare guidance.
