Market Street Mission

Market Street Mission is a faith based residential addiction recovery program in Morristown, New Jersey and is part of a Christian mission founded in 1889.

Its Life Change recovery program offers long term residential treatment for men with counseling, 12 step fellowship and spiritual development, work therapy and job skills training.

The whole program, including three months of post graduation housing is completely free.

Supporting Underserved Communities

The core Life Change program at Market Street Mission in Morristown charges nothing and requires no insurance. It's funded entirely through charitable donors.

That covers the month long pre program, the full three phase residential curriculum running roughly 7 to 10 months and then three additional months of free post graduation housing so men can secure employment, save money and plan next steps before moving on.

Alumni who want continued structure can move into one of five Mission owned sober living houses in Morris and Monmouth Counties at reduced rent.

I want to note that the program is Christ centered, with daily chapel and Bible study, required church and mentor meetings, so it is a good fit for men who are open to a faith based path rather than those seeking secular clinical care.

A Program Built on Responsibility

Market Street Mission offers the support for men to be responsible for their sobriety. Once you've completed one phase of treatment, you're welcome to move to the next. There are also no requirements for random drug testing.
