About Marion County Behavioral Adult Health
Marion County Behavioral Adult Health is a county-operated behavioral health and substance use treatment program in Salem, Oregon serving adults 18 and older with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use concerns.
The program offers outpatient behavioral health services and Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) with a recovery oriented approach that combines clinical care with community based support, life skills training, and wraparound services.
Assertive Community Treatment
Clients may engage in the Adult Outpatient Program which includes counseling, case management, psychiatric evaluation, and medication management provided by psychiatrists and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners.
For adults with higher-acuity needs, frequent hospitalizations, or justice-system involvement, ACT delivers intensive community-based care.
ACT includes nursing support, life-skills coaching, and integrated substance use treatment for those with co-occurring alcohol or drug concerns.
