MAAS Day Treatment New Haven is an addiction treatment center in New Haven, Connecticut offering structured intensive outpatient and medication assisted treatment programs for adults. Under Chemical Abuse Services Agency, Inc., the program provides day treatment and standard outpatient services, therapy and psychiatric care, case management and recovery coaching at 426 East Street. Clients describe life changing transformations, rebuilding family relationships and long term recovery with methadone support and compassionate care.
What kinds of treatment are offered?
MAAS provides day treatment meeting three hours per day, three days each week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Medication assisted treatment using methadone and buprenorphine is integrated with evidence based individual and group therapy, pharmacotherapy, psychiatric evaluation and follow up, case management and recovery coaching, basic primary care and urine drug screening. Less intensive outpatient services are also available for clients who qualify for a step down level of care.

The program serves adults and young adults in the New Haven area, with a focus on inner city and traditionally underserved populations. Gender specific therapy is available and specialized Latino behavioral health services are offered in both English and Spanish for clients needing culturally responsive care.

MAAS accepts Medicaid, private health insurance and self pay. A sliding fee scale based on family size and income is available, and the program states that no one will be denied services due to inability to pay.
