Structured Treatment in Scottsville
The treatment provided at this facility includes community support groups where guests can share their challenges with others who understand their journey. The goal is to increase self-esteem, confidence levels, and feelings of community which can support overall recovery.
Residents attend 12-step meetings to learn about accountability and accept responsibility for their past behaviors. In addition to this service, the facility provides individual and family therapy as well as adult peer support services. Case management is available to connect you to outside agencies or services for ongoing recovery care. Case managers can help with transportation, housing, healthcare, and food.
Intravenous drug users tend to have a higher risk of developing certain illnesses due to their drug use. The facility works with the Barren River Health Department to provide optional and anonymous testing for HIV and Hepatitis C once a month.
One other great thing is that this location provides individuals who are currently involved with the court system with program good time credit. When a client completes the program, the credit can deduct time from a client’s sentence.
