What Kinds of Addiction Treatment Does Life Challenge Ministries Offer?
The organization provides a licensed, trauma informed 60 bed residential treatment center, a licensed intensive outpatient program (IOP) and standard outpatient counseling.
Care is evidence based and holistic, including CBT, motivational interviewing, the Matrix Model, relapse prevention and 12 step facilitation. An optional voluntary faith based track offers a 12 month Christian discipleship and education program.
Who Can Get Help?
The program serves adult men and women, transitional age young adults, seniors, LGBT clients, veterans, military families and forensic or criminal justice clients.
It also supports people with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, as well as trauma, sexual abuse, or domestic violence histories.
Life Challenge Ministries is located on Pierson Street in Detroit, identified as the Life Challenge of Southeastern Michigan campus. This safe, structured residential setting is designed to foster community life, personal growth and healthy living.
How Do I Start?
The program accepts Medicare, Medicaid and private health insurance. An entrance fee is generally required unless prior arrangements have been made.
