About Life Challenge Ministries
Life Challenge Ministries in Detroit, Michigan, offers substance abuse and addiction treatment to adolescents and adults with a four-phase rehabilitation program. Each phase is three months in length, meaning each client gets a year of active help and support in their addiction recovery journey.
This is a strongly faith-based program that helps adults and teenagers who have been struggling with alcohol and drug addiction. This unique Adult & Teen Challenge program allows participants to contribute to the cost and needs of the recovery program and helps build their confidence and sense of self worth. Programs through Life Challenge Ministries are available for adults aged 18 and older.
Christian Treatment and Services
Treatment in this Christian program includes daily chapel and spiritual guidance, classes and counselling. There are work duties and a recovery support group as well as mentoring programs. Recreational and physical programs are also provided. Life skills such as resume writing, goal setting, personal finances and mental health services are all available through classes, workshops, groups and telehealth.
The year-long program has two main focuses. The first is spiritual, to help individuals understand their worth while building a relationship with their higher power and creator. The second is to build a strong work ethic in life.
Nominal Fee
The four phases of treatment are provided for $1200. This covers a full year of treatment, transportation for program-related travel, room and board.
