About Liberty Ranch
Liberty Ranch was located in Kings Mountain, Kentucky. This was a residential treatment facility that supported men and women who were working through struggles with drug and alcohol addiction. The facility provided a peaceful recovery environment where you would have been supported by the latest evidence based therapy and addiction recovery techniques.
There was a strong sense of community here, and many past clients say they appreciate the thoughtfulness and care they received while working with the staff here. Unfortunately, this facility shut down permanently.
Peaceful Recovery Environment
The property here is absolutely beautiful. It’s tucked between several rural communities just north of Daniel Boone National Forest, and you would have had the chance to experience the tranquility of the gorgeous woodland scenery here. On the grounds, you could enjoy the peacefulness of the onsite lake, where you could go fishing, engage in equine therapy, and participate in other outdoor rec activities. There was also a basketball court, volleyball, spacious walking trails, and plenty of outdoor spaces where you could enjoy the beauty of nature among other amenities.
This distraction-free facility made it really easy for you to focus fully on yourself, connect with nature and determine what you want your sober future to look like. Most importantly, you would’ve gotten to apply the skills you're learning in recovery here to help you meet those goals.
Community Focused Care
When they were open, there was a strong sense of community here. While living at the ranch, you would have enjoyed a number of community gatherings, including barbecues, social events and other activities that allowed you to connect with other people in recovery. Many past clients and their families say it was this sense of community that really helped their loved ones experience what a life of sobriety felt like.
