Indian Rivers is committed to compassionate care, with a guiding promise that no one is turned away due to inability to pay.
Intensive Outpatient Addiction Treatment
The Skyland Center specializes in structured outpatient addiction care for adults, beginning with a substance use assessment.
Walk-in assessments are accepted Monday through Friday mornings, making it easy to start the recovery process without long delays.
Outpatient treatment includes two 2-hour group sessions per week, while intensive outpatient programming offers three 3-hour groups weekly, both paired with counseling, case management and recovery support.
Gender-specific and co-ed groups are scheduled across morning, afternoon and evening times to fit different needs.
Court-Partnered Recovery
Indian Rivers also supports court-involved clients through the Tuscaloosa County Second Chance program and Pickens County Drug Court partnerships, with therapists participating in court staffing.
The organization treats co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions, and women needing a higher level of care can access the 16-bed A Woman's Place residential program within the same continuum.
