About Houses of Hope
If you’re looking for a fresh start after battling addiction or mental health struggles, Houses of Hope in Lincoln, Nebraska is one of those places that just feels like it gets it. They’ve been helping people rebuild their lives since 1962, offering what they call “a chance and a choice” and honestly, that’s what they deliver.
Different Paths, Same Mission
Houses of Hope has grown into three major programs to help offer people real options depending on what they need. They will tailor their treatments based on your unique needs.
First, they run halfway houses for men who’ve completed treatment but aren’t quite ready to live on their own yet. While living there, guys work full-time, attend group and individual counseling, and stay plugged into recovery groups to build up their new life skills. These can help them become more involved, integrated members of their communities.
They also offer Touchstone, which is a short-term residential program for both men and women. It's super structured and includes nursing care, case management and even therapy. And it’s all centered around a mix of 12-step work and cognitive-based approaches. This type of recovery model can be ideal if you need a solid and focused space to reset.
On top of that, their TASC program is there to help people in transition or crisis. It's a whole team effort between several organizations, offering 247 support to stabilize and guide people back into community life. They work with both adults and youth, in both city and rural areas. This means that nobody is left out.
