About Hill County Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse
Hill Country Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse is an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment provider in Kerrville, Texas and can serve you across five Hill Country counties.

Parents Facing CPS Involvement
HCCADA operates PADRE/PPI which is a trauma informed intervention built specifically for expecting parents and parents of children age six or younger who have substance use risk factors including families already involved with Child Protective Services.
I want to note that this is not general family counseling. The program is delivered in partnership with CPS and has clinical care inside practical stabilization.
A parent in this program can access parenting classes and tobacco cessation help, mental health and substance use services as well as job training, financial planning resources and housing assistance, family violence resources and overdose prevention.
No Cost Peer Recovery Coaching
HCCADA can pair you with recovery coaches at no cost.
Coaches provide mentoring and connect you to recovery housing, mutual support groups and employment, transportation and community recovery activities, meeting online or in person.
The organization also distributes free naloxone and coordinates with EMS to reach people after an opioid overdose and extends support to those not yet in formal treatment.
HCCADA serves Bandera, Gillespie and Kendall, Kerr and Medina Counties, accepts Medicaid and numerous insurance plans, and offers sliding scale and financial assistance options that can leave you with little to no cost.
