About Good Samaritan Rehabilitation
Good Samaritan Rehabilitation is a faith based rehabilitation program that provides substance use disorder care for adults in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho. Along with drugs and alcohol, they focus on other forms of addiction including pornography and sex addiction as well as eating disorders. It’s a faith based program, and you should’ve already initially achieved sobriety before entering into the multi-month inpatient programs segmented by gender.
Long Term Support for Maintained Sobriety
A nice feature about them is that programs are designed with long term sobriety in mind. While the inpatient programs last two months for men and three months for women, both are followed by an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that lasts for six months. This can also include transitional housing so you stick with your sobriety and aren’t pushed back into an unhealthy environment that might trigger relapse.
Women’s Residential Program
The women’s residential program is managed at Women’s Blue Creek House. You’ll have dormitory style accommodations and a daily schedule that runs from 6am to 10pm every day. Along with faith services and daily chores, daily classes include moral reconation therapy, financial management, relapse prevention, individual and group counseling sessions, and pharmacology care if needed.
Sunnyside and Bonnell House for Men
Both the Sunnyside and Bonnell houses are part of the men’s residential program. Similar to the women’s program, both houses have a dormitory style format and participants are expected to keep full schedules. Faith services and daily chores are mixed with similar daily classes offered for the women’s program.
