About Footprints to Recovery Addiction Treatment Centers

Footprints to Recovery is an outpatient treatment center for addiction in Centennial, Colorado. Their network has nearly every level of care you might need throughout your journey so they’re a helpful long term option.

They have medical detox and residential rehab here but also PHP, IOP, standard outpatient and medication assisted treatment. You’ll get individual, group and family therapy.

This particular location is just for their outpatient treatment, though. Detox and residential care are at a separate campus in Aurora.

Aurora to Centennial Treatment

Having two locations lets Footprints to Recovery create a smooth transition while also leaving space so their more intensive programs are free from distractions.

Patients who finish detox or inpatient care in Aurora often step down into the Centennial partial hospitalization program without changing providers, therapists or clinical records.

The Centennial PHP runs five days per week, six hours per day. The schedule is structured so you can live at home and transition back to your home life while still getting the powerful support you need.

Footprints to Recovery designed their programs to help clients stick to their recovery.

They cite research that people who stay in treatment for 90 days or more tend to have stronger long term outcomes, so they do what they can to keep you engaged for long enough to make a lifelong change.

Military and LGBTQIA+ Tracks

Footprints to Recovery has a dedicated military track and LGBTQIA+ groups along with its general program.

The clinical staff includes dually licensed therapists and psychiatrists. The facility also holds NAATP accreditation.

Footprints to Recovery serves the greater Denver area and accepts most major insurance plans, including TriWest, with sliding scale payment options available.

Levels of care

Detox
People ready to stop using but worried about withdrawal can start with detox, which works as a first step in Colorado.
Partial hospitalization (PHP)
Daytime sessions in Colorado build skills that ease the move to lighter care. Practice happens daily while support stays close, so the next step feels manageable.
Outpatient
If you need more independence than fuller programs offer, outpatient treatment keeps care to a lighter, scheduled load.
Aftercare support
Aftercare support in Colorado gives early recovery a steady base, with relapse prevention as one of its main aims. Regular contact and honest conversation help a person spot warning signs early.
Co-occurring disorders
Care looks at how a substance use disorder and a mental health condition overlap for each person. Depression, anxiety, trauma or PTSD, and bipolar disorder are common pairings seen together.
Intervention services
Families who want to know what to expect can ask how a given interventionist likes to work.
Sober living
When inpatient care ends, a sober living home can serve as a bridge to living independently again.
