Levels of Treatment Used for Substance Use Disorders
Drug and alcohol detoxification provides a safe way to control withdrawal symptoms using medication assisted therapy and IV drips. After stabilization a client transitions to the residential rehab facility.
Residential treatments include individual therapy, group therapy, dialectical (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), medication assisted treatment (MAT), and trauma care. Supplemental therapeutic activities are offered such as art therapy, music therapy, yoga and exercise, and animal therapy. There’s a full kitchen, lots of meeting spaces, and outdoor lounges so you can get to know your peers and recover in a home-like setting.
After residential treatment is complete clients will proceed to the next level of care, PHP. Clients attend therapy sessions from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day.
IOP comes next. Clients attend three hour sessions three times per week for individual and group therapy. The following level, the outpatient program, meets once per week with a group and once per week for individual therapy. An alumni program is available for clients who have completed all levels of treatment.
Specialized Substance Use Treatment for Veterans
The Addiction Treatment for Veterans Program offers specialized rehabilitation for veterans with substance use disorder and PTSD. Clinicians are also specialized in trauma, traumatic brain injuries, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder. The admissions team works with the VA to find the best paying package for each veteran.
Clients looking for an area to meditate might travel to Pawnee Prairie Park, 3.4 miles from the facility. A visitor can take a walk on the paved or unpaved trails, eat at a picnic area, and visit the Butterfly Garden.
