Outpatient Therapy
Clients begin with an assessment to determine the best fit for individual DBT therapy, skills-based group programming or a combination of both. The DBT skills groups meet for 90-minute sessions structured like a class, covering mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness, with weekly homework to practice real-life application.
In addition to formal DBT services, the team integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and trauma-focused treatments such as Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Processing Therapy. This comprehensive approach addresses substance use, self-injury, suicidality, trauma, anxiety, depression and eating disorders alongside borderline personality disorder and severe emotional disturbance.
Addressing Challenges
The various therapy methods help guests target past traumas and events that may have led to addiction. They can also work on healthier thinking patterns and actions that are more conducive to a sober lifestyle.
