The S.Mark Taper Center for a Healthy Community of El Proyecto del Barrio in Winnetka, California, offers many health services including behavioral health. The clinic is staffed with bilingual therapists.

The clinic’s behavioral health program is certified by the state of California as a MediCal Drug Program. A sliding fee schedule is available for those who are eligible. Transportation can be provided to and from appointments.

Substance Use Treatment

Substance use and mental health treatment is available as part of their behavioral health program. Specialized treatment is available for pregnant women, postpartum women, and parents.

Referrals for Specialized Services

If it is determined you need more intensive substance use treatment you will be referred to a local treatment center. You can also be referred for specialized health services, employment and training, and legal aid as needed.
