Its person-centered approach blends traditional Native healing practices with evidence based Western behavioral health therapies.
Culturally Grounded Outpatient SUD Treatments
Care typically begins with a screening, assessment and personalized treatment plan to identify the right level of support.
From there, clients may engage in outpatient substance use treatment, mental health counseling, group therapy and life skills development, with referrals for medication when clinically appropriate.
The CARF-accredited team provides integrated treatment for co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions for adults, young adults and adolescents.
Therapeutic modalities may include CBT, DBT, EMDR, family and couples therapy and culturally grounded healing practices that honor Alaska Native traditions.
