Chesterfield County Department of Mental Health Support Services offers outpatient addiction treatment in Chesterfield, Virginia with a focus on accessible community based substance use care.
This Community Services Board program provides a continuum that includes Same Day Access and Medication Assisted Treatment with ongoing aftercare. The mission is to reduce barriers to care and help residents build a foundation for lasting recovery.
Medication Assisted Treatment and REVIVE!
The outpatient program serves adults and adolescents including women in recovery, trauma exposed clients, and clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Through the Office Based Addiction Treatment program, clients can access MAT medications such as Suboxone, Vivitrol, Naltrexone, Campral, and Antabuse, along with REVIVE! overdose response support.
Clients participate in counseling using evidence based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, contingency management, relapse prevention, and trauma related counseling.
The integrated model connects substance use treatment with crisis intervention and broader behavioral health resources.
Additional Services and Payment Options
Beyond outpatient addiction care MHSS offers mental health services and developmental disability supports, prevention programming, and a 24 hour crisis line for Chesterfield County residents.
