About Charlotte Rescue Mission Rebound
Charlotte Rescue Mission Rebound is a faith based rehabilitation center that specializes in helping men who are experiencing homelessness, mental health disorders and substance use disorders. This nonprofit organization opened their new 72,00 square foot facility in 2025. The residential building can now provide treatment and resources to an additional 99 men, and grants and donations have made the entire program completely free of charge to participants.
Structured Routine for Recovery
The core program at Charlotte Rescue Mission Rebound is their 120-day residential recovery program. A typical day at the facility includes an early wake up time between 6:00am and 6:30am, morning church service followed by breakfast and individual counseling sessions. At around midday patients will enter 12 Step meetings, group counseling sessions and recreational activities. Evenings typically include dinner in the cafeteria, optional Bible studies or NA meetings and group outings in the floor lounges. The shared lounge areas include pool tables, televisions, shuffleboard and a fully stocked gym.
All residents onsite have assigned roles as part of their work therapy program. They learn manual jobs like housekeeping, facility maintenance or kitchen service jobs.
Skills Support for Long-Term Success
Charlotte Rescue Mission offers multiple programs to support life in recovery. Life skills development focuses on financial literacy like saving, budgeting and the basics of credit. With access to the education support program and a dedicated learning center, clients can prepare for GED courses. Additionally, the staff can help clients enroll in community college or vocational training.
