CED Fellowship House is a long term residential drug and alcohol rehab in Gadsden, Alabama serving adult men with prolonged substance use histories. The program offers residential care and medication assisted therapy.

Work Therapy and Payment
CED Fellowship House charges a $250 admission fee. They state that applicants will not be denied solely because they cannot pay it upfront and the program charges a self pay rate of $4,600 for up to six months of treatment.
Residents contribute 30 percent of weekly net income toward room and board after employment. This matters because reintegration is built into it's daily structure instead of leaving it to aftercare and residents are expected to work when able.
CED Fellowship House provides transportation to and from that work at $2 per trip. This is capped at $20 weekly. This model is a good fit for a man in northeast Alabama who needs to rebuild financial footing while still in treatment.
Men's Residential Since 1968
CED Fellowship House has run continuously since 1968 as a 32 bed men's residential program and it is certified co-occurring capable by the Alabama Department of Mental Health. Admission requires an adult psychosocial assessment.
This uses DSM-V codes and a state approved ASAM form that recommends this level of care.
The program also considers incarcerated clients for placement if there is a bed available and and approved documentation which distinguishes it as a reentry pathway for state inmates in the region.
