About Hope Center
Hope Center is a Lexington, Kentucky, nonprofit providing addiction recovery, mental health support and homelessness services across its Loudon Avenue campus network.
The organization offers intensive outpatient treatment, long-term residential recovery for men and women, detention-center recovery programming and emergency shelter services for adult men at the West Loudon Avenue location.
Hope Center's mission centers on life-sustaining and life-rebuilding care that meets people in crisis and walks alongside them toward sustained recovery.
Peer-Driven Recovery Through the Recovery Dynamics Model
Hope Center's core specialty is long-term substance use disorder recovery built around the Recovery Dynamics curriculum. The program is peer-driven and professionally supervised, blending residential recovery, intensive outpatient services and structured 12-step support for men and women.
In a typical week, participants engage in group therapy, individual sessions, educational 12-step meetings and structured activities that reinforce a recovery lifestyle.
One alumnus described the program as "a safe haven" that helped him learn about recovery and spirituality when he had nowhere else to turn.
Integrated Shelter and Wraparound Support
The 360 West Loudon Avenue campus uniquely combines emergency shelter for adult men with social services, veterans programs, men's Safe off the Streets outreach and access to the Dr. Gordon Hyde Hope Health Clinic operated by HealthFirst Bluegrass.
This integrated model addresses addiction alongside homelessness, co-occurring mental health concerns, and basic needs.
Medicaid and Medicare with Sliding Scale Support
Hope Center serves the Lexington community in person across its Loudon Avenue and Versailles Road campuses, and is part of Kentucky's Recovery Kentucky network of outcome-based supportive housing programs.
Payment options include Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE, private insurance, self-pay, financing, financial assistance and sliding scale support.
