Blue Hills Hospital Hartford Campus in Hartford, Connecticut, is part of Connecticut Valley Hospital’s Addiction Services Division. The State of Connecticut’s Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services contracts with the hospital. This hospital provides inpatient detoxification and drug rehab, including medication assisted treatment (MAT) for adults with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Hartford is one of the oldest cities in the United States, and the treatment center is less than three miles from scenic Riverside Park, a beautiful place to meditate and walk after your treatment and during recovery.
24 Hour Access to Support
One of the things that’s nice about this facility is they take walk-ins and referrals from sources such as case managers, the courts and community agencies. The admissions staff is there 24/7 to evaluate you and get you to the right program. They give priority to the uninsured and those on public insurance.
Specialized Detox and Rehab Programs
The program specializes in caring for those requiring acute medical detox and/or an intensive level of rehab. Their specialized services provide support for specific populations. These include dual diagnosis treatment, support for pregnant women, programs for the deaf or hard of hearing and services for HIV positive individuals. Treatment includes therapy modalities, nutrition, trauma informed care and the 12 Step model of recovery.
