About Maryland Treatment Centers Avery House
Avery House, part of Maryland Treatment Centers, provides substance use treatment for women 18 and older in Rockville, Maryland. It is a long-term residential treatment program where guests can focus on healing while gaining independence.
Medication-Assisted Therapies
Long-term treatment at Avery House allows women time to work on their recovery skills in a structured setting with support. They offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and welcome guests on methadone maintenance. They work with your provider to ensure you get the appropriate dosing without interruptions.
Home-Like Setting for Families
Avery House provides space for women with up to two children, 12 and under. Families have a home-like environment where you aren’t separated from your children while continuing treatment. This can give you the comfort and security you need to move forward in recovery.
Most guests remain at Avery House for three to six months, based on their unique recovery needs and goals. They offer several programs including education groups where families are welcome to attend to work on building a supportive network for sobriety.
