About Area Substance Abuse Council Hightower Place
Hightower Place is part of the Area Substance Abuse Council in Clinton, Iowa. This residential treatment clinic offers 24-hour substance abuse treatment with round the clock supervision and is exclusive for women aged 18 and older, mothers and pregnant women. Hightower takes a full circle approach to recovery, blending clinical treatment and life skills training to enhance your new life of sobriety.
Most services are covered by insurance or for low income patients they offer a sliding scale. If you have an EBT card, the staff encourages you to bring it with you as well to cover most of your meals.

Preparing For Your Stay
The staff here recommends a week’s worth of appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes. Bring your own personal hygiene items but no aerosol cans are allowed. Children under 13 must have a prescription for Tylenol or ibuprofen. Once you're in Hightower you're not just a client -- you become family.
