About Allendale Detox & Treatment
Allendale Treatment in Fort Wayne, Indiana is an inpatient addiction treatment facility. Each client has their own bed and television, catered meals, and other treats such as ice cream. A large percentage of staff are in recovery and understand what each client is going through.
The facility is Joint Commission accredited and LegitScript certified. You can check your insurance coverage using a form on the website, a chat on the website, or by calling the facility.
Medical Detox Before Inpatient Treatment
Allendale offers onsite medical detox for clients who need it before they begin inpatient treatment. Detox lasts 9 to 13 days and is followed by two weeks of treatment for post acute symptoms.
You can smoothly transition into inpatient rehab here after your detox. Inpatient treatment includes individual, group, and family therapy. Specialty treatment is available for you if you have a dual diagnosis, which is when addiction and mental illness coexist. The length of inpatient treatment is typically 30 days.
Free Intervention for Your Loved One
If your loved one qualifies for treatment at Allendale, Allendale’s intervention team will come to where your loved one is for free and try to convince them to enter treatment. The team is headed by community leaders Nate and Tommy who are seen at local events, on their podcast, on YouTube, and in local and national news segments. Nate recently visited Washington DC to advocate on behalf of families who are struggling with addiction issues.
Education About Addiction for Families
Friends and family of individuals who are struggling with addiction are invited to attend sessions monthly. The person with addiction is not required to be a current patient. Information, dates, and times are available on the organization’s Facebook page.
