Abraxas Youth and Family Services

Abraxas Youth and Family Services is a nonprofit organization in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania providing residential as well as community based and in-home care across substance use treatment and behavioral health.

Trauma-Informed Substance Use Treatment

Abraxas offers a full continuum of adult addiction care including withdrawal management and residential treatment, outpatient services, and aftercare support. The organization provides men's, women's, and young adult programming with specialized curricula designed to meet diverse needs.

Treatment integrates cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma informed care to address the root causes of substance use alongside daily coping skills. Sessions emphasize personal responsibility and changed ways of thinking.
