What kinds of addiction treatment are offered?
The Addictive Behaviors Clinic provides an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and outpatient therapy for Veterans who misuse alcohol and heroin, cocaine, amphetamines, and other substances.
The IOP requires a minimum 14-week commitment at 3 days per week with many Veterans continuing aftercare for a year or longer. Care draws on the Matrix Model and relapse prevention, DBT and CBT skills groups, psychoeducation, and psychotherapy.
