About Upper Valley Turning Point
Upper Valley Turning Point is a recovery center in White River Junction, Vermont that offers free recovery support services for adults navigating substance use disorder and other addictive behaviors.
Operated by the Second Wind Foundation, the center provides a staffed drop-in space, peer recovery coaching, treatment navigation, recovery meetings and transitional sober housing.
Its goal centers on inclusivity, multiple pathways to recovery, and building a welcoming, substance-free community.
Recovery Support Programs and Services
While Upper Valley Turning Point is not a clinical rehab, services begin with a simple drop-in visit or connection with a Certified Peer Recovery Coach.
The recovery coach can help with goal setting, referrals and treatment navigation to outside providers.
No application is required to participate in center activities.
Meeting Access
Members can access a wide range of recovery support meetings, including AA, NA, Al-Anon, All Recovery and Recovery Dharma, along with family programming, Dads in Recovery and Writers for Recovery.
Transitional housing is also available through Willow Grove for women and Jack's House for men.
The program is peer-led, inclusive and supportive of multiple recovery pathways. The offer meeting rooms, a lounge, a library, a full kitchen, Wi-Fi, a pool table and outdoor space.
