Your team will determine the treatment you need based on an assessment.
Detoxification for Substance Use Withdrawals
Medically supervised substance use withdrawals services are available if you are in need of withdrawal management. Pharmacological interventions will prevent your symptoms during detox treatment.
The staff specializes in treating dual diagnosis disorders, psychosis, bipolar disorders and other severe mood disorders. Electroconvulsive therapy is used to treat depression and some other mental health issues that may be contributing to your addiction.
Residential Treatment to Achieve Sobriety
Residential treatment involves finding the underlying problem causing the substance use and treating both diagnoses. You will need to undergo detoxification treatment or in less severe cases you may be able to slowly decrease the dose using methadone or a similar drug.
During treatment you will begin to recognize your behaviors that cause relapses. After completion of your treatment, you will be encouraged to attend Narcotics Anonymous, Alateen, Al-Anon or SMART recovery. A reviewer appreciated that the staff communicated to her daughter with respect and that a doctor updated them on her recovery frequently.
