Brook Retreat Structured Sober Living for Men and Women

The Brook Retreat for Men offers a unique, structured sober living program for adult men in a peaceful, wooded setting just two miles east of Plympton, Massachusetts. Their program offers their residents a way to find freedom, fulfillment and brotherhood while living in the residence and engaging in all the different activities it provides.

They’re also associated with Brook Behavioral Health, which offers partial hospitalization and outpatient programs, as well as a similar retreat for women in Weymouth.

Helping You Focus on Recovery First

The program has three distinct phases, and the first phase consists primarily of individual and group counseling while you complete steps 1 to 7 of the 12 step program. During this time, you’ll be able to spend your free time exercising, exploring the wilderness around the residence, and building friendships with your housemates. They protect the program’s integrity with random drug and alcohol testing, which also help to keep each resident accountable.

Providing a Structured Path Toward Reintegration

After phase one, they’ll help you find employment or return to school, and will add job and life skills training to your weekly schedule. You’ll still get to live in and enjoy the residence for all it has to offer while slowly building the foundation you need for life after the program.
