About Adult and Teen Challenge Sanford
Adult and Teen Challenge offers faith-based residential addiction recovery for adult men ages 18 and older in Sanford, Florida.
The campus offers Christ-centered care for substance abuse, alcohol addiction, opioid addiction, gambling addiction and other issues, with attention to trauma and co-occurring mental health challenges.
The program's mission is to help men rebuild their lives through structure, mentorship, spiritual growth and brotherhood in a calm Central Florida setting designed to remove daily triggers and distractions.
Long-Term Faith-Based Recovery
The core offering at Sanford is a year-long residential program structured into three phases including orientation and induction, training and transition.
As part of the Teen Challenge Southeast network, the campus combines Bible-based teaching with informed care for men seeking lasting change.
Daily life includes counseling, peer support, psychoeducation, relapse prevention, coping skills, anger management and trauma-informed care.
Vocational Training and Spiritual Formation
Beyond clinical support, the Sanford campus integrates work-based learning through woodworking, auto detailing and thrift store operations.
Mentorship, prayer, devotion and fellowship are woven into each day, and extended pathways like a 6-month Restoration Phase and 12-month internship help men prepare for independent living.
