Levels of Treatment for Substance Use Disorder
The center offers three levels of treatment. Day treatment, similar to partial hospitalization programming (PHP), is the most intensive program. Clients meet from 3:30 am to 1:00 pm five days per week for four weeks.
Intensive outpatient programming (IOP) has 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm group meetings four days per week with individual counseling on the fifth day. General outpatient programming groups meet from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm for two days and meet with a substance abuse counselor the third day. General outpatient typically lasts 90 to 120 days.
Aftercare in a Sober Living Home
Sober Living Homes in Milwaukee are gender specific residences for clients who need a sober environment. Residents attend 12 step community meetings. Recreational weekend trips include camping, hiking, rafting and participation in sports leagues.
Residents receive complimentary weekly transit passes until employment is procured. A fleet of bicycles are available to residents with locks and helmets included.
