The treatment center is only a half mile from beautiful Simard Payne Memorial Park on the banks of the Androscoggin River. The park is home to the annual Great Falls Hot Air Balloon Festival and features a walking path and performance amphitheater. Check ‘em out between sessions as you relax and find healthier ways to cope with stress.
The center takes a structured and disciplined multiphase approach to treatment. Phase one includes intensive outpatient treatment (IOP). The IOP is about six weeks and meets three hours a day, five days per week. Clients meet individually with a recovery coach and have at least two meetings that include a family member or concerned friend.
Clients progress through four phases of treatment to the maintenance phase comprising more than six months of treatment. Treatment may include medication assisted treatment (MAT) if appropriate.
Each phase of the treatment requires specific actions before you can move to the next phase. A few requirements to transition out of phase one include writing or speaking about your recovery story, consistent attendance, and attainable goals.
