About Preferred Behavioral Health SAIL
Preferred Behavioral Health SAIL is a behavioral health and substance use treatment program that offers structured after school partial care services for adolescents.
The program supports youth ages 13 to 17 who face serious emotional or behavioral challenges along with substance use concerns.
Preferred Behavioral Health SAIL is built on a trauma informed approach that emphasizes learning, growth and emotional stability within each teen's family and natural support system.
Community and School Coordination
SAIL is a highly structured partial care program delivered five days per week, Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. designed to fit around the school day.
Care may begin with a referral from a parent, school and hospital, probation or the youth themselves, followed by psychiatric evaluation and individualized goal planning.
You can expect individualized therapy and family therapy, parent support groups and cognitive behavioral therapy, medical management and therapeutic recreation.
The program also coordinates with schools and community providers, and a related teen intervene program serves adolescents with mild or suspected substance use.
