About North Dakota Adult and Teen Challenge
North Dakota Adult and Teen Challenge is a faith-based residential addiction treatment center serving the community of Mandan. This facility uses biblical principles and individualized courses to help clients gain freedom from substance use and sustain lasting recovery.
Adults who are 18 years or older will stay for a minimum of 12 months. The program is broken down into four levels to provide you with structured support.
Christian Based Treatment Program
In combination with discipleship, clients will engage in a variety of work-related and recreational activities while living at this facility. What sets Adult and Teen Challenge apart from other places is their focus on Christian values. During your first 12 weeks, you’ll attend classes to help you recognize and change destructive thoughts and beliefs.
Helpful Transitional Care
During the transition phase of treatment, clients will begin to put the knowledge they’ve learned into practice. They’ll start actively pursuing employment and housing and work on effectively managing their time and resources. The staff will also encourage you to find ways to give back to your family and community.
Supportive Re-Entry Services
The re-entry program allows clients to stay on campus while employed so they can build up enough savings to get their own housing. You’ll continue to receive mentoring and regular counseling to support you. The staff will also assist you in getting connected with local churches and accountability groups.
One reviewer praised the facility for helping their son get clean and sober. An additional reviewer found the staff to be kind and patient.
