Adult and Teen Challenge Rochester Mens Center

East of the historic Wilson House in Rochester, Minnesota, you can find the Rochester Men’s Center. This center is a residential treatment center that’s part of the Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge (ATC) nonprofit organization that provides faith based addiction and recovery programs for adults and teens.

At the Rochester Center, they have 100 beds to provide adult and adolescent men with a safe environment for recovery and healing. This facility also has a playground, a gym, and a chapel, among their many amenities.

Providing Licensed Treatment for Men

The ATC residential program consists of a combination of faith based spiritual and character development as well as evidence based clinical and therapeutic treatments for addiction. They host special group therapy sessions, each targeted at a particular type of substance addiction (for example, opiate support group). They also provide individual counseling as well as ambulatory detox, which is where they connect patients with particularly hard withdrawals to a licensed off site professional to help manage and monitor the withdrawal.

Aimed At Long Lasting Success

The Rochester Men’s Center is also home to the long term recovery program. This program is meant to help men facing obstacles such as homelessness, dual diagnoses, or previous failed recovery attempts.
In the four stage program, the center’s staff takes great care to help you adjust to life in the community and walk with you, building healthy habits and good character up from the foundations.
