LHRC Reality House is a residential addiction treatment center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, specializing in substance use recovery for mothers and their children. Women can access up to 6 months of residential treatment designed specifically for mothers recovering from substance use disorders, including opioid use disorder during pregnancy and postpartum. The program model integrates halfway house supports with clinical services, allowing mothers and children to remain together throughout the continuum of care.
Treatment includes individual, family and group counseling for both mothers and children, alongside substance use education, relapse prevention, parenting training, life skills and spiritual formation. Reality House also offers wraparound services such as comprehensive case management, early childhood development, tutoring, job readiness training, transportation and housing assistance referrals to support long term family stability.
